Getting started
551 indicators covering 2000–2025, browsable by framework, sector or breakdown.
IndicatorsFinding and downloading data
Filter any indicator, then download the exact selection as CSV, Excel or JSON, or call the same query through the API.
Data and APIDashboards and maps
Sector dashboards group related indicators; the map shades values across the six districts.
DashboardsFor data providers
Submitting agencies upload data, follow validation, and respond to queries in the portal rather than by email and spreadsheet. Accounts are issued by SIB.
Accessibility
The portal targets WCAG 2.1 AA: every chart has a table equivalent and a text description, colour is never the only signal, and all controls are keyboard operable.
Contact
Questions about the data or the portal go to the Data Dissemination team at the Statistical Institute of Belize.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. All published data, dashboards, maps and downloads are free to use without signing in. Accounts exist only for institutions that submit data.
How do I find every indicator broken down by sex or disability?
Filter the indicator list by breakdown. Breakdowns that are planned but not yet collected are shown as such, so an absent breakdown is never mistaken for absent data.
Geography (165) Sex (94) Age group (0) Disability status (0)
Can I get the data through an API?
Yes. Every indicator page links the exact API call for the current selection, and the full reference is under Data and API.
Why do some indicators have no figures?
An indicator can be defined in a reporting framework before any data is collected for it. The portal lists only indicators that carry observations, and records the rest as defined but not yet reported.
