- Indicator purpose
- The purpose of this indicator is to provide a standardized instrument to monitor the macroeconomic stability of country.
- Abstract
- The indicator selection builds on existing macroeconomic monitoring frameworks developed and used by international and regional agencies, such as the IMF, the WB, the ECB and the OECD. The Macroeconomic dashboard has selected indicators covering the above-mentioned topics, annual data for the ten most recent years, and will be maintained for all countries. The dashboard will be updated quarterly and will be published on the World Bank’s Data site (Data.WorldBank.org) as well as on the UN SDG website.
